ZAAIRA El Mehdi is currently the Head of Aquaculture Sector Development and HSE Manager at OSSMAROC. Affiliated with the Polytechnic Faculty of Larache- Abdelmalek Essaadi University Morocco, he is in his first year of doctoral studies in aquaculture under the supervision of the Prof. Maryam El Bakali. He holds a Master's degree in Coastal Science - Multidisciplinary Approach and a Bachelor's degree in Water and Environmental Engineering. His current research focuses on developing an ecologically responsible offshore aquaculture industry in Morocco, exploring the potential of integrated multitrophic aquaculture and seaweed. Among his notable contributions are the establishment of an aquaculture farm at Plage David and conducting socioeconomic surveys on fisheries resources in Mansouria. He has also led environmental impact assessment and maintenance projects for Lydec Casablanca (2022-2024) and supervised the installation of integrated multitrophic aquaculture farms in El Jebeha, Morocco..

Salah Eddine Sbiba is a doctoral student at Mohamed 5 University (Faculty of Sciences)- Morocco, as well as at the National Institut of Marine Research Casablanca (INRH). His primary research interest lies in population structure and fish stock discrimination. Currently, he is conducting research on the stock structure of Scomber colias, or the Atlantic chub mackerel, through a holistic approach that utilizes otolith shape, genetic markers, and otolith microchemistry. Sbiba has already made notable scientific achievements, having published two scientific research articles.

Bashir Ibrahim Umar obtained a Bachelor's de obtained a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria (2013 - 2017, where I developed a research interest in fish artificial breeding to enhance aquaculture seed production. I proceeded with a master's degree at Zhejiang University, China (2019 – 2022). My master's thesis revolved around fish nutrition, focusing on sustainable alternative ingredients. My experience in aquaculture, including selecting ingredients, formula production, and water quality management influenced my passion for a Ph.D. in the "Effect of environmental factors, feeding regimes, and dietary protein levels on physiological performance of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) and production of tomato in Decoupled FLOCponics systems: study of growth, nutrition, and immunity" at Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Morocco under the supervision of Prof. Maryam El Bakali

Khaili Aymane is a PhD student at the Abdelmalek Essaadi University (Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Tangier) in Morocco. He worked as a biologist at the National Institute for Marine Research in Tangier (INRH) and as a consultant for regional and international organizations (GFCM, ACCOBAMS, RAC/SPA). His research focuses on the bioecological study of the Paracentrotus lividus sea urchin population in the Moroccan Mediterranean. He is currently conducting research on genetic identification, the reproductive cycle, growth, and the impact of environmental parameters on the microbiological quality of P. lividus gonads. Khaili has achieved notable scientific results, allowing him to publish two research papers in prestigious journals. He has also presented his research results at several scientific meetings in Morocco and abroad. Khaili has actively participated in the organization of numerous scientific and associative activities. He is also an active member of numerous national and international NGOs.

Sissoko Abdoul Karim, a Malian national, is currently studying for a Master's degree in Environment, Aquaculture and Sustainable Development at the Faculty of Science and Technology in Tangier.
He is preparing his master's thesis on the theme of: "nutrition of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) with a formulated feed based on seeweads and vegetal protein" at the Smart Farm of the multi-disciplinary Faculty of Larache under the supervision of Prof. Maryam El Bakali.

Yousra RGHIF is a PhD student in second-year doctoral research at the Faculty of Science and Technology in Tangier, in the field of earth and climate sciences.
She holds a Master’s degree in Pluridisciplinary Coastal Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology in Tangier, Abdelmalek Essaadi University.

Tariq Ouztato is a Ph.D student affiliated with the National Institute of Fisheries Research and the Polydisciplinary Faculty of Larache. He holds a master's degree in biodiversity management and conservation, and he is committed to the preservation of biodiversity and promoting sustainable development. Tariq is deeply passionate about marine ecosystem and specially benthos biodiversity. Through his thesis he aim's to understand the Diversity, distribution and spatio-temporal dynamics of benthos (epi and endo benthos), along the Moroccan coast under the effect of environmental gradients. In order to achieve that, Tariq has participated in different survey that focus on studying biodiversity and demersal resources along the Moroccan coast. In addition, his interdisciplinary approach, mr. Ouztato aims to advance knowledge and promote sustainable practices for the protection of marine life and habitats.
